1. Selection of measuring interphase insulation instruments:

Because the power supply for measuring resistance in the multimeter is up to 9V, and the motor is working at 220V or 380V AC voltage, its pulse peak wave reaches more than 500 volts. The power supply voltage of the megohmmeter (shaking meter) is 500V. As long as the leakage of the coil phase to phase and phase to ground (including capacitive current) is weak at 500V, the motor is qualified.

Ordinary multimeter can only measure the resistance of tens of thousands of ohms (the pointer is the most accurate within the range of 1 / 3-2 / 3 of the dial). Use it to measure the resistance of the megohms. Out (when the multimeter measures resistance, its scale is uneven, hundreds of thousands of ohms only occupy a small dot on the right side of the dial).

Second, how to detect the quality of the three-phase motor:

(1) First measure the DC resistance of the three-phase winding with a multimeter. (In fact, the resistance value of the winding is very small, our ordinary watches basically can not see the size, unless the motor is very small, just look at it.)

(2) If the three-phase windings are all connected, use one wire of the shaker to connect to the outer shell of the motor, and the other wire to measure whether the resistance of the three-phase winding to the ground is normal. (The minimum resistance must not be less than 0.5 megohm)

(3) If the resistance of the three-phase winding to the ground is normal, the last is to measure the insulation resistance between the phases. You can connect one line of the shaker to the terminal of the one-phase winding, and the other to the other two. Terminal. (Be careful not to connect two wires at the same time, but to connect them separately.) After the measurement is completed, the other two-phase windings are measured by reversing the shaker wires. At 0.5 megohms).

Clamp the two test leads of the meter to the terminal of the junction box and the other to the case. Shake the handle of the meter evenly. The reading obtained is the insulation resistance of the motor to the ground, generally about 200K ~ 2M is qualified .

Clamp the two test leads of the shaking table on the terminals of different phases of the junction box, and shake the handle of the shaking table evenly. The reading obtained is the insulation resistance between the motor phases. Generally above 100K is qualified.
