During the “6th Five-Year Plan” period, the company participated in the research and development of 28MnSiB new low-carbon spring steel and participated in the development of a variable-break panel spring. Since 1984, he has conducted technical negotiations with foreign companies several times, designed and developed a variety of export leaf springs, and exported large quantities to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, achieving very good economic benefits. At the same time, due to long-term work in the production line, accumulated a lot of on-site processing experience. It has won several awards from the relevant departments of Shougang Corporation for export earnings.

From 1998 to 1999, due to the successful application of the hardenability test to the production of leaf springs prior to rolling, a large amount of waste products that were originally caused by poor material hardenability were avoided, thus obtaining the best operator of Shougang Corporation, and at the same time The third prize for the best operation method.

In 2000, due to the successful design and development of the new leaf spring required for the Guangzhou New Stadium (the Ninth National Games Project, the closing ceremony was held here), the Beijing Federation of Trade Unions awarded the honorable title of economic and technological innovation model. This kind of leaf spring is used in the construction industry for the first time in the world.
