During the cultivation of celery, in order to promote its growth, gibberellin can be sprayed on the leaves, and the obvious effect can be seen after 15 days. Spraying gibberellin combined with fertilizer management can achieve better results.

Celery can be harvested from 50 to 60 days after planting and 40 cm in length of petiole. Harvesting starts from about 5 cm from the base of the plant; the leaves are not excessive, and two to three functional leaves must be retained so that the growth does not affect the growth of the plants. In order to make the wound heal quickly, it is not possible to water immediately after the leaves. Generally, 2 to 3 leaves are taken before New Year's Day, and the second time can be harvested before the Spring Festival. After the Spring Festival, it is harvested until the whole plant is pulled up. After each sacral leaf, the shed temperature should be increased by about 5 °C to promote wound healing and root regeneration. After 5 to 7 days, the temperature should be restored to normal temperature, and watering and topdressing should be strengthened to prevent pests and diseases.
