When conducting a full-line inspection of China's pasture machinery products, it was found that there are many quality problems in the application. Relevant experts believe that the quality level of China's pasture machinery products is low, mainly for the following reasons.

First, the investment in grassland animal husbandry has always been seriously inadequate, and the relative support has slowed down or even declined, which has caused many forage machinery manufacturers to switch production or stop production. In addition, there are gaps in technology, manufacturing methods and processes between China and Europe and the United States. Manufacturing capacity and levels have further widened the distance. For example, the existing forage machinery manufacturing enterprises have low product quality, many use failures, and poor reliability. Reciprocating mowers need to be sharpened for half a day, with less than 80% reliability. The foreign rake machine works 400 hectares of elastic teeth, and the breaking rate is only about 4%. However, the product of our country has a breaking rate of about 25% in the same amount of work. Under the same operation conditions, the work done by China's pasture picking and crushing is half the difference compared with similar foreign models.

Second, the product variety is incomplete and the complete set is poor. There are 13 varieties and 49 models of Johns Company's forage machinery. New Holland Company now produces 12 models and 25 models. There are only 21 models of forage picking and loading trucks, which can be selected by users of various business scales. . On the basis of introduction and digestion, China's pasture harvesting machinery has initially formed a process system of loose grass, square bale, round bale, crushing and secondary press packing, but most of the working machines are single models, and each working process The equipment and power matching are poor, users can not choose the right machine according to their own business scale, and the use efficiency of the machine is not high.

Third, the product technology level is low. The technical level of pasture machinery products is one of the important indicators to measure the overall science and technology level of the industry. For a period of time, due to the serious shortage of capital investment, the driving force of technological innovation, research and development capabilities, and technological imitation have slowed down or even stopped. Most of the pasture machines that have been shaped in China belong to the foreign countries in the 1980s or before, and there has been no major improvement and innovation in the past 20 years.

The fourth is the lack of an after-sales service system. After the implementation of the dual-contracting-to-house production responsibility system for grass and livestock, the demand for livestock machinery by individual operators is relatively weak, and the original technology promotion system no longer exists in many places. At the same time, the promotion and application of many new technologies and new products do not have smooth output channels; the products sold, the after-sales service cannot keep up, and there is no timely feedback of user information, resulting in a disconnect between supply and demand.

Experts believe that there are many reasons for the low quality of livestock machinery products, but the lack of capital investment and talent shortage is the key to the low level of research and development capabilities and manufacturing processes.
