This technology is the first technology for the control of woody material extractive glueing barriers, the elimination of formaldehyde from wood-based panels, the aldehyde-absorbing multi-effect finish, and the electrostatic powder coating technology for artificial board products. It has created key technologies for ecologically-based processing of wood-based panels, and has designed and optimized the ecology of wood-based panels. The processing technology has successfully solved the key technical problems of low solidification of low aldehyde adhesives, resource utilization of waste liquids, and high consumption of organic solvents in the coating process, significantly improving production efficiency and resource utilization, and achieving zero use of organic solvents. The product set has no artificial formaldehyde emission, beautiful decoration, anti-corrosion and moisture resistance and other excellent characteristics. Its environmental performance is comparable to natural wood, and the main technical indicators have reached the international advanced level.

Professor Peng Wanxi from Central South University of Forestry and Technology led the team to track international frontier research in the field of environmental hazard management of wood-based panels and products for a long time, and carried out basic law decryption and technological innovation. For the first time, the concept of “artificial formaldehyde-free wood-based panel release” was proposed, scientifically defining the level of “no artificial formaldehyde emission” and overcoming the ambiguity of “E0-level formaldehyde release level” with strong professionalism and “ultra-low formaldehyde emission”.
