The 400KA electrolyzer designed by China Aluminum International Shenyang Aluminum Magnesium Design and Research Institute achieved an unprecedented current intensity of 403 KA and an anode current density of 0.82 A/cm2 during the 10 months of operation. The supporting production and operation management technology has laid a solid foundation for the large-scale modernization of the electrolytic aluminum industry in China and the improvement of international competitiveness.
